Part of the $2 trillion stimulus package from the US government is a one-time cash payment of up to $1,200 to Americans who qualify.

Arizona COVID-19 Rental Assistance Evictions Prevention Program (also known as Save our Home AZ )

The Arizona legislature has appropriated some money to assist tenants who are financially injured by the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents who are seeking assistance can apply to the Arizona Department of Housing Information about that program can be found at:

CARES Act Aid (Pandemic Unemployment Insurance or PUA)
*FINALLY BEGINS MAY 12th here in AZ!!*

PUA provides up to 39 weeks of benefits to qualifying individuals. Payments will be retroactive to the date of eligibility back to the week of February 2, 2020. Individuals who are eligible under PUA will receive a weekly benefit amount, ranging from $117 to $240 per week and will also be eligible for the additional $600 per week included in the CARES Act.

The Resident Relief Foundation

 A new nationwide initiative to support residents impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The new initiative, eponymously named the Resident Relief Initiative, will pay one month of rent in emergency financial assistance to renters and help landlords who are at risk of foreclosure and bankruptcy.

Maricopa County NON-COVID RENT & MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE

Maricopa County households seeking assistance with their rental deposit or their monthly rent/mortgage payment may qualify for assistance from the Human Services Department’s Community Services Division (CSD)
